Patrick Zylberman produced an online course at the Centre Virchow-Villermé entitled “SRAS: une révolution de la gouvernance mondiale des épidémies“, which first went online in April/May of 2014. Patrick Zylberman holds the Chair of History of Health at the Ecole des hautes études en santé publique (EHESP, French School of Public Health). He is one of the organizers of a series of seminars at Val de Grace Hospital on newly emerging infectious diseases (2001, 2012, 2014).

Together with Lion Murard he has published: L’hygiène dans la République. La santé publique en France ou l’utopie contrariée, 1870-1918 (Fayard 1996); with Antoine Flahault: Des épidémies et des Hommes (La Martinière 2008); and with Susan Gross Solomon and Lion Murard: Shifting Boundaries of Public Health: Europe in the Twentieth Century (University of Rochester Press, 2008). In 2013, Gallimard published his work: Tempêtes microbiennes, essai sur la politique de sécurité sanitaire dans le monde. He is a member of the Board of Public Health and Chairperson of Section X (Health and Health Prevention) of the High Council for Strategic Education and Research (Conseil supérieur de la Formation et de la Recherche stratégique).
