This course developed by Professor Rainer Sauerborn and Dr Valérie Louis together with Dr Ali Sié and Dr Maurice Yé, is a collaboration between the University of Heidelberg and the Centre de santé de Nouna (Burkina-Faso). It reunites international experts to emphasize the link between climate change and health within the African context.
Conceptualized as a collaborative and reflexive tool for African population (more particularly for the west- africans) it has for goal to settle the basis of the impact of climate change on health and to explore the politics and the practical application for prevention, attenuation and adaptation. Discussions will be favored thanks to a Facebook page and a forum that will be animated on a regular basis. This MOOC is currently broadcasted on FUN and will last 5 weeks.
