This MOOC is produced by the Centre Virchow- Villermé in collaboration with the University of Geneva, the Institute Pasteur and its global network and the University of Montreal. It reunites experts from several international institutions from academia, NGOs and international organisations to address the stakes of Global health at the human-animal-ecosystem interface.
It aims at promoting the relevancy of the « One health » and cross-sectoral approach for preventing and controlling global health diseases. Both health risks, including zoonotic emerging infections, antimicrobial resistance, rabies, snakebites etc., but also opportunities for health promotion through biodiversity conservation and contact with nature, are extensively covered in this MOOC bringing some of the latest scientific evidence, concepts and tools.
This MOOC will be available on Coursera on March 2017.
