As part of the MOOCs financed by the call for projects Université Sorbonne Paris Cité, the Centre Virchow-Villermé will produce a MOOC entitled “Numérique et Recherche en Santé : nouvelles pratiques et enjeux”. This MOOC is meant to favor collaboration from the design phase onward. We also propose you to respond to a questionnaire, so that we may identify the expectations of future participants in terms of content and format.
Contribute to the creation of the MOOC “Recherche et Numérique en Santé” by responding to our questionnaire.
Some information about the MOOC “Numérique et Recherche en Santé”
This MOOC #SciNum (hashtag twitter) has the objective of providing researchers, research professionals and future French and French speaking researchers with the necessary elements to follow the evolution of research methods in health and in the life sciences (Open Access, participatory research, Open Data, management of big data in research). Furthermore, it will enable researchers to take charge of associated digital tools and to tackle new challenges (technological, social, ethical, etc.) and paradigm shifts, introduced into research practices (data driven research) by digital technology.
A MOOC conceived to encourage collaboration from its conception
For the design of this MOOC, we wish to appeal to a variety of experts (researchers, research engineers, statisticians, etc.), corresponding to the diversity of practices, in order to provide perspective regarding the challenges of these new practices, as well as to offer concrete examples for their application (part/section « Lab ») in various scientific fields dealing with important health questions.
This MOOC is being produced in collaboration with the different member institutions of Université Sorbonne Paris Cité, INRIA and Université Laval (Québec).
A questionnaire to identify the expectations of future participants
In order to give a voice to the future participants of this MOOC, we propose you to respond to this questionnaire by November 4, 2014. Your answers will be helpful in the adaptation of content and format, which will be validated by the Scientific Council of this MOOC. Thank you in advance for your participation.
MOOC #SciNum: a research topic
The MOOC “Numérique et Recherche en Santé” is also a research topic for the specialists in information sciences and communication within the Centre Virchow-Villermé. Through ethnographic work, the aim will be to take advantage of the impact of these new practices on researchers, research professionals and future health researchers.
